1.8 litre k-jetronic (csi) fuel injection , lumpy cam not sure of the make !

Here i have is my golf which has been imported from the united states , from there on its in australia now , it has been transferd to the right hand drive as its obvious with the left hand passenger foot rest , no rust except minimal around the front wind screen . This is a genuine gti cabriolet not a karmen !!
has full instruments including ......

centre oil pressure , oil temp , battery

gear shift light on dash

lukey sports exhaust and muffler

clear mk1 rear tail lights and front ( also spare angel eyes head lights )

spare radiater from golf loon

mk2 gti front seats (red)

original grill twin gti with hella head lights
all in operating condition except the fan ( heating) looks like it had an aircon , but must have been removed ..

Has nuespeed front springs and swaybar , and koni on the rear , with very little roll through corners , have to say the front camber has been a negative adjustment also .
There is no issues with the engine or gear box .


Stuff that dont work ...

speedo , dropped out last year
rear demisters
2xengine mounts need to be replaced

the boot is hard to open ( as has been changed to a late mk1 cab)
few electricals as the oil pressure and oil temp , must be the switches , or wiring ... generally its an old car and needs some refinements ...

the rim is bent but has not caused any trouble ,or any loss of air from the tyre , easy to get hold of these bmw rims anywhere, i just may hold onto the fron twin headlight grill for now ......

If any are still interested , what has been done to the golf is i have had the front left hand (wheel bering and outer cv fixed) new, new oils all round including gearbox and engine , have the oil presure and oil temp temp gauge working as well , so letting this go for $2000 read back on the threads for more !! otherwise have a view upon request ....strong engine and gear box as well as the body ..... just need a tidy up in the interier .. pm me for more info and leave your details and i will get back to you , cheers shane ..

My apologies, I realised you are in Perth and driving all the way across to Brisbane would be a major task. Let me know if you are considering freight across to Brisbane as I am also getting quotes.
