  • NSW EOI: '76 Mk1 Golf 3dr ABF

    Hi all.

Unfortunately due to loss of license driving a V8 (p plater), around the end of July i will selling the Mk1 Golf LS. An option is to keep it until i get my license back towards the end of the year, although around that time i will be going overseas for a year. Keeping it garaged while i am overseas is also an optoin but a waste of a years rego. Not registering it while garaged will involve a blue slip on return from overseas, so clearly i have thought abit about having to sell hahaha....

Off my life story, onto the car:

    ENGINE
    - 1999 2L 16V ABF engine from MKIII GTI from UK (only done something like 22,000kms - will check when at home)
    - Wolf 3D V4
    - GTI short ratio gearbox
    - Pod Filter
    - Oversized radiator
    - 2.25" exhaust system with straight through muffler

    CHASSIS
    - Wilwood 4pot 280mm brakes
    - Weitec race spec coilovers - full adjustable
    - Front and rear sway bars
    - Rear bracing strut
    - Spaced 15" x 7" alloys with brand new rubber - (semi slicks just taken off as too much trouble with police)
    - Resprayed at some time in its life
    - All cosmetic GTI parts - flares, chin spoiler, grille, etc.

    INTERIOR
    - Great condition
    - Mk1 GTI dash
    - Mounted Wolf 3D engine computer
    - Alpine head-unit
    - 6x9" rear speakers, Kicker door speakers with tweets

    PRICE $10,500

Car is fully engineered. Only really want to sell to someone enthused by these cars, not someone who is going to wrap it around a tree at 100mph the week after they get it, it will be missed enough while its in one piece

This is a nice car Calling a fairly tall order at that price bracket, though! It's worth it, yes, but the market for these things is stingy

definitely worth it when you feel the speed you can pick up and further still take into corners.

hahah nah standard rear drums are there - discs on the back would probably lock up too much...
