Item: 1979 Mk1 VW Golf

Item Condition: Quite good for its age. Paint isn't great and it has a little rust here and there, but overall a straight car.
Reason for selling: Sadly, I don't have time or space for it at the moment. Would love to keep it, but 3 project cars is too much for me!

Good Points:
1.6L petrol motor, 45DCOE Weber carby (Sounds awesome!), extractors and 2" exhaust, gearbox upgraded to 5 speed 020 (needs some linkage tweaks to set up properly...bought some new linkages which will come with the car), Comes with spare 4 speed box, Duckbill front spoiler, Mk1 GTi wheel flares, GTI quad light grille, Genuine GTI golf ball gear knob, unmolested door trims and parcel shelf, sheepskin seatcovers with good condition seats underneath, good tyres...more stuff I can't remember.
Negatives:
Needs CV and steering rack boots replaced (supplied), Current instrument cluster odometer doesn't work (Comes with spare cluster), alignment is way out at the moment after I replaced the old suspension with something a little fresher.
Extras (at extra cost):
Complete prothane bushing kit including engine mounts - $140
Polished 15"x7" 3-Piece Simmons B45's (Simmons are no longer operating, so you can no longer get these wheels new) with brand new streched tyres (fronts 165/50/15, rears 175/50/15) - $900
