I will be landing in Adelaide on the 9th November 2009.

So I and the family will be looking for a cheap car to get us going.

Can people help me?

I know this part of the forum is not for chatting about things so could people pm me what things i will need to do to be legal in a car.

The car needs to be registered in your name at the motor rego place. There's a couple down South, Marion and Christie Beach.

Your choice to actually insure it or not. I would though, any minor bump could see you paying on the drip ad infinitum.

I would say rent a car for a week to get you going. Koala cars on Sir Donald Bradman do ones from $29 a day.
