Hi all
Its been a thing coming and well its time, I want to get a move on with the mk3 and finish that, and basically houses aren't free
So here we have my Original Mk1 GTI cabrio. Yes this is a genuine GTI! I bought this in December and was fixing this up and now runs flawlously and goes without a hitch. Most parts of this car have been changed and replaced! This car is completely stock standard apart from the coilovers and wheels apart from that everything is genuine and the real deal.
The car has all of the GTI running gear, including swaybars, brakes, engine and interior features.

Its not a modifed car only bar the wheels and coilovers apart from that its one of the best GTI cab's in Aus!!! I only have one picture at the moment so bare with me will be putting up more tonight.

Interior
- Seat runner clips replaced and regreased
- Radio installed and working
- Interior light functioning when door opens
- GTI clocks, volts and oil temps fitted
- Door rests retrimmed both sides
- Glovebox lid retrrimmed
- Parcel shelf retrimmed and side panels aswell
- Kneebar retrimmed and fitted correctly.
- New brake pads fitted (sorry unsure what they are)
- Disks machined
- New poly mounts (All)
- Strut top mounts new (Roughly 3000kms)
- HotTuning Coilovers (ROughly 2000kms)
- Gemini Hotwires wrapped in Sime 175/50/13s
- Rear drums pulled apart and completely overhauled
- New rear drum lines installed
- Front and rear GTI swaybars
- Brand new CV joints fronts
- 1.8 K-Jet engine (stock standard)
- New fitted clutch cable
- Serviced only 5000kms ago
- New oil added every 3000kms
- New rocker cover gasket
- New sump and gasket (sump is reinforced)
- New fuel pump (Bosch)
- New battery (2 weeks old)
- Old frayed electrical cables changed for new
- Gear linkages have been replaced
- Replaced Transmission mount
- New roof (Previous owner suppled and fitted it)
- Body is 100% straight
- New GTI decals replaced old frayed ones.
- Paint still looks like showroom shine condition!
- New front and rear bars
- New GTI archs
- New Front GTI grille
- Impro Cross Hair lights
- Crystal smoked turns
