QLD Regretful Sale - Loons Legendary '76 Mk1 16V

Yep you heard it, the Green Machine is for sale. Listing on behalf of my brother who intended on keeping this for life. His situation has changed and needs space in his garage – and pretty disappointed to let it go.

Car hasn’t been touched or altered since buying it as Loon did all the work required including engineers report. Was insured with Shannons for $10k.

Its one CLEAN mk1 – see pics. 1976 Mk1 with KR 16V running on white 15” Lensos, leather interior, sway bars, lowered, intake, tint, upgraded brakes and gearbox.

Don’t know specifics on brands – but I’m sure Loon can help list? (Thanks Matt)

Needs to go to someone who has VW blood running through their veins and will keep this on the road for future years!

Car ship costs Brisbane to Sydney are about 600 - 800 (found out recently for a buyer looking to buy my car and ship to Canberra).

That cant be right, it cost me 300 from Sydney to Melb and 700 from Melb all the way up to QLD.

I just brought a MK2 up from Sydney to Brisbane.

It cost $497 but they added $270 because the car was "significantly lowered" (read 60mm drop) so be careful, the original quote is rarely the price you pay.

GTI Front Brakes, Cordy Rear Drums, Mk2 16v Booster and M/C and some coilovers in the front I think. rear might still be lowered springs with custom lowered axle.
