The Good

Great running car, has been super reliable. 209xxx Km
Overall great original condition for its age.
Strong clean engine, all PCV hoses have been replaced, near new battery. New coil about 3 months ago.
Good brakes - all discs, pads and master cylinder were replaced when we bought the car, using German parts. Non ABS car, so nothing to go wrong in that dept.
Exhaust replaced with resonator (suitcase delete) and a near new stainless rear box from a VR6
Suspension has no issues, fitted with Bilstein shocks (standard type, not fancy but still good).
Interior is in excellent complete condition. No rips or tears. There are no cracks or splits in the dash cover whatsoever.
All gauges, switches and controls work. Speedo and tacho working perfectly. Original VW radio in place with 10 stacker.
This car has a locking glovebox which is not too common.
Not so good
A few instances of minor battle damage to the body work with a small dent in the tailgate. There are a couple of minor clear coat blemishes (about the size of a 5 cent piece) but considering most cars in this paint colour have lost their clear coat entirely they aren't major at all.
Reverse gear is a bit noisy but working fine - it has been this way for over 2 years now and hasn't gotten any worse. Gearbox linkage needs overhaul (European sourced overhaul kit comes with the car)
Both rear windows aren't working.
