Those things were around $35- $38K new in mid-90's, I've seen a purchase doc, its no wonder they're rare.
The Mk 3 TDI 1Z engine, a bit updated, can be found in much newer VW and Skodas. You have to work at it if you want to kill one.MY09 Golf Candy White 2.0 TDI Pacific
