  • 2011 Audi Noosa Food and Wine Festival

    • Second year with Audi as principal sponsor
    • A1 Studio and marquee Audi showroom on display throughout the festival; more than $1,000,000 worth of Audi vehicles on show
    • International guest chefs to drive Audis over the course of the weekend

Audi is proud to once again be the principal sponsor of the Noosa Food and Wine Festival, being held on the stunning Sunshine Coast from May 13 – 15, 2011.

This is the second year that Audi has been the naming rights sponsor of the festival, which has grown to become one of Queensland’s premier culinary events and this year boasts an all-star line-up of local and international talent.

Audi, as always, will play a highly visible role in the festival both through the support of Audi Australia and the Audi Centre Sunshine Coast dealership. This year the ‘Audi A1 studio’ will be on display throughout the three days. The A1 studio is a multipurpose installation - fitted with a bar, LCD screens, lounge furniture and featuring an A1 display car - where customers can register their interest and receive the latest information on Audi’s premium small car.

An Audi hospitality tent will also be front and centre throughout the festival, plus a marquee showroom with 6 Audi cars on display ranging from the urbane A1 to the versatile Q5, through to the fire-breathing RS 5 Coupe and the sophisticated new A7 Sportback.

As this year’s event hosts some of the world’s finest chefs, it was only fitting that they travelled in some of the world’s finest vehicles, so Audi Centre Sunshine Coast is providing Audi vehicles for the attending international chefs to drive over the three days of the festival.

Uwe Hagen, Audi Australia managing director, said: “This is the second year that Audi has been the principal sponsor of the Noosa Food and Wine Festival, and we are obviously in the right company. Jim Berardo and his team are clearly very effective at staging one of Queensland’s premier food and wine events and the audience they attract is the same discerning group that makes up a large part of our present and future customer base”

“Audi is a committed patron of the arts and culinary communities, and the 2011 Audi Noosa Food and Wine Festival is another important connection with our Australian audience. The success of this year’s event is assured – with such a worldclass line-up of chefs and wine connoisseurs, not to mention the stunning Noosa location itself, we are looking forward to a wonderful three days.”

One of Australia’s top chefs, Matt Moran, is an Audi ambassador and will once again be heavily involved in the Noosa Food and Wine Festival: “I always enjoy being involved in the Noosa Food and Wine Festival. It’s one of Queensland’s premier culinary events and boasts a great line-up of chefs this year”, said Matt.

Scott Carse, dealer principal of Audi Centre Sunshine Coast, is also a huge supporter of the Audi Noosa Food and Wine Festival: “It’s been a fantastic partnership, one that not only helps us connect with our customers both present and future, but also with the wider community of the Sunshine Coast and Australia’s culinary community.”
