My 2013 mk7 golf recently developed an annoying problem, the front windshield washer is not working with following observation:

1. the wiper works fine when I pull the stalk, but no water jet working sound

2. the washer fluid is full and the rear washer...

My GTi has a pretty annoying habit of activating the windscreen wipers (when set to auto) when there is no rain or water of any kind hitting the windscreen or going anywhere near the sensor. It's been happening for long enough for me to realise there is no dust or bits or anything...

I took my Golf Mk6 in for the 15,000km service last month and also had the wipers replaced.

I was quite shocked when I found out that they charged $45.97 for each of the front wipers. I was told that that's how much these new areo wipers cost so I accepted that.
