Are Touareg wheels safe on a Transporter?

Hey all,
I've been looking around for some second hand genuine VW wheels for my T5 transporter and have come across some nice 17" alloys off a 2011-2012 touareg.
My local VW dealer claims there is no way to really tell if they are load rated or not, but most likely are. Obviously...
