Hi all, coolant leak probably means I'm up for my 3rd waterpump in 4 years. I think the last 2 were aftermarket. Has anyone had any success with finding a waterpump that lasts the distance? I hear GEBA is pretty good. My mechanic has also suggested I just get a new car, cause this one will keep blowing...

does anyone know whats best to use on the waterpump union tube (to oil)... installed a replacement waterpump the other day and thought it was all gravy but after about 15 - 20 mins of letting the car run it leaking like crazy and making some crazy hissing sound like a hose or something has come loose...

I had a new waterpump fitted in my 2006 2.5 transporter less than 3 years ago, less than 30,000km.

I had a slight loss of coolant (as in a few capfuls) Did a pressure test and nothing.

The last couple of months i've been experiencing crunching in 2nd gear and an extremely knotchy third gear.
