Hi there, keen to hear people’s views on the 1.4 turbo on the new Tiguan. It does come down to personal preference, but in general terms is the engine underpowered or sufficient (if not wanting to do regular 'spirited' driving)?

Need daily.
Already have an auto V5 Bora for family duties.
Noticed a 1.6 manual golf for sale locally that looks interesting.
Was looking for something that is good on petrol - but was wondering what peoples opinions on the 1.6 is?

Bring on the mods again.

Had my R for a few days now and it feels very underpowered compared to my GTI (GIAC Stage1+)
Oh well. going to get a GIAC or REVO within the week.

Just wondering what tuning companies are within 80km of Brisbane or what tuning boxes are recommended because I'm really disliking how underpowered this engine is.
