Good morning all. I recently had the Check Engine light come on my car with these codes set.

This is accompanied by erratic temperature gauge performance
- Sometimes reads as high as 120
- Sometimes reads as low as 50 (0?)

If it is on 0 or 120 the fans are running...

Can someone please tell me where the temp sensor is located on the engine. It needs replacing as the temp gauge in the dash is not working. It works intermittently and Sometimes comes on goes up to 90 degrees then drops back down to zero. I have ordered the part from vw. Part no 251919501a $68.45....

I have owned our Caravelle vw since new- so 11 yrs. have joined this forum to try and find out where the heck the temperature sensor is located on the engine. Have ordered the new sensor and don't know which one it is on the engine! Easy to replace if you know where it goes. It's a 2003 tdi Diesel....

Hi guys, i'm hoping someone would be able to provide me with an image (or a simple description) of the location of the coolant temp sensor on a Bora V5? I've looked so hard so many times and can't find it anywhere, it's driving me mad!

Hoping you can help me out. I've noticed that on cold starts my SAI doesn't kick in. Normally I can hear the SAI and then it turns off after a minute or so after starting, but now I don't hear it at all.

I've also noticed that when I turn the car on again (after driving and engine is...
