During a routine cleaning of the rear door I pulled out the rubber between the body and tailgate that hold the wiring at the top of the chassis. I discovers that the hole in the chassis was pretty rusted out. Mine is only a 2010 model T5 LWB so not that old. VW was on it quick smart and with in 1 week...
