Just had CP removed from a MIB II unit. was not hacked. Having issues with navigation working. I was told that a FEC code restore was required. Can this be done via VCDS or do only on the ODIS system?

Finally signed up. used to have a look at the forum a few times here and there for my old Mk2 Golf GTI. Thats long gone and now im on an uphill battle trying to restore my Mk3 Golf VR6. Every time I go to sell it I just cant bring myself to do it.

As per title, seats and door cards from a vr6 Colour concept.

Door cards in great used condition (all the same condition at the one shown below)
Rears in good used condition
Front passenger in decent used condition
Front Driver really needs a restore to do it justice,...

Is it possible to backup and restore the ECU firmware?

I take it that it should be possible given that the ECU can be upgraded.

Picked this up for $200...starts and runs fine! I want to restore it to its former glory!
