Gear Selector (PRNDS) Lights Gone Dull

Noticed a strange issue with the PRNDS lights on the shifter, the backlighting has become much duller than usual to the point where it's almost not noticeable. Only noticed it after swapping the stock Mk5 R32 shifter to a Mk6 Scirocco R shifter.

Scanned the car and there's no error codes...

Hi everyone...I'm a newbie.

Morning everyone. The main reason I've joined is to get some info. I've got a golf1.9tdi 2005. And have some issues.
Ok....it won't start when it's hot....I mean not engine hot ( don't even need to start it)... But hot weather hot. If you leave it in the sun the prnds will flash and it won't...
