P0401 EGR insufficient flow A detection

Hey all - drove around 7 hours from home over the long weekend in my 2010 t5.1 transporter and made it to destination fine. Shortly after an extra highway stint the engine light came on.

Luckily my mate had his scanner and we got the code P0401 EGR insufficient flow A.

Hey all
Having some issues with the egr code P0401.
It's an MY13 Audi Q3 2.0TDi
100,000km
I had only owed the car for about 300km or one day before the first check engine light came on.
Since then I have had it to a mechanic and they cleaned out the intake manifolds...
