Hi, there is a approximately a $100 difference between a NRMA/RACQ battery and the genuine one from VW. With VW being more expensive of course. Is there a difference in operation, or how it will affect the car ?

Hi all, the clutch take-up is too close to the floor and now a little extra effort is required to get into 1st gear.
i'm now resigned to the fact a new clutch kit needs to be installed. This was the suggestion of a local brake and clutch centre today who bled the system to ensure not a hyd problem....

It was my recollection that it was the consensus of Australian Golf owners that the speaking/voice command symbol on the steering wheel beneath the call button was DISABLED for use in Australia....
