Long time forum lurker, first time poster. My first VW was a MK3 VR6 which got me hooked on the brand- and this forum amongst others got me out of trouble on more than one occasion. Currently driving a (broken) mk6 103TDI, but hoping to move up to a mk7 GTI in the near future!

Didn't see that coming
Came back from Rockhampton to Brisbane today, passing through some heavy rain in the Multivan on several occasions.
A number of times, I hit water on the curb side of the road at the bottom of slopes, and on each occasion the appearance was identical to the glaze that showed up everywhere...
