I've got an R36 which has become a bit of a pain. There are no fault codes yet.

It is leaking coolant somewhere very slowly and it's not obvious were. Pressure tested and pressure held. All usual places checked - no signs of a leak. We wonder if it's burning off as...

In the active display, is there a way to display average economy over all instead of since start? I can't see any obvious setting.

Hi 2003 T4 Transporter 2.5 @ 220,000kms here. I have developed a loud hissing noise in the cabin over the last couple of journeys which goes completely when I apply the brakes but returns once off the brakes? It sounds like a leaking air hose. It's not firing !
Turns over fine, no warning lights all normal but won't fire up. Yes there's fuel in it.
Throwing a fault code p1049 (NRMA mechanic) which is crank angle sensor fault to ground.
Replaced the sensor and still no go. Checked...

Anybody blown a head gasket on the bora V6 before or seen the aftermath? Any obvious tell tale signs?

When I serviced the car the other day I noticed that the water was at the minimum mark so i thought i would monitor it and see where it was going.. well on the way out tonight the coolant warning light came on and it had dropped about 1-2 cms and set the low coolant light off....

anyone done this? both of mine are torn to shreds since my car is almost 21.

i want it as close to oem as possible but i have the feeling it will turn out pov and be really obvious. resigned to the fact it's not gonna be anywhere near but it's better than holding ripped bits of leather....
