in a recent daily blast in my MY18 GTI original, with the performance screen on the media system I observed boost pressures up ward of 28 psi, my understanding is Max boost was around 18psi, Questions is the performance monitor fibbing a little, is this transient boost to raise and maintain specific...

For the growing family we recently traded the Polo GTi for a MY16 Octavia RS Wagon, and the 08 AWD Passat Wagon for a pov-pack fabia.

Sadly, you can guess which one is my daily. But the Passat was just getting too costly to maintain.

I've joined this forum because I'm interested in buying a Passat diesel. My only hesitation is the fact that German cars can get expensive to maintain after the warranty period. Does anyone have any comments to make regarding this concern?
