Got a large Aussie built car but I couldn't cope with the overall experience after the Passat... so the wife took over the Aussie tank (which she loves) which cleared the decks for...
We have just bought a Passat diesel wagon - a low mileage 2010 which we are enjoying immensely, Moved from an ML270 Mercedes as my wife did not enjoy the ride in it, she loves the Passat.
We are planning a drive around/ through/ across Australia starting early next year, hence the diesel...
