Yep. Killed it dead.

I replaced the clutch coil a few weeks ago and I reckon I have simply done up the nut on the front too much. The compressor was spinning but it was laboured and made some noises. I turned the car off as soon as I noticed and the clutch was SO HOT I couldn't go near...

Hey DubHeads, Happy to say i'm one of the crew again 28yrs ago i had a 74 passat wagon, killed it 20yrs ago i had a 74 kombi, it almost killed me Few days ago i picked up a Edition 35 in Candy White, completely stock, and in fairly clean condition. Gotta say, these go like stink off a shiney...
