Hi all.
I'm a recent owner of a Skoda Kamiq with DSG transmission.

I've never had DSGs before so unsure what to expect, i only did a very short test drive before i purchased the car and did not notice anything out of the ordinary (in comparison to automatics)

However...

I have a current model Skoda Kamiq and looking at installing a dash cam with parking mode.

The Kamiq has a convenient usb plug next to the mirror, but it shuts down when ignition is off.

Any ideas on how to change the behaviour, or rewire with the least hassle?

Sadly have failed the Eye test for my licence so Tig is sold and Ive bought an E bike and a white stick.

Wife has been appointed head driver and I will have to go in her Kamiq.

Is on the portal as mentioned by Flipper Dog Also works in Skodas withe suitable units Got it to go in the Kamiq by selecting TRoc from 2020 and Discover Pro. Went from 21.2 to 21.7

Daz , picking up my Kamiq on Monday , first euro , was looking at a Tcross till we drove the Kamiq .

I'm new here though I have been looking at the forum for years. I currently own a SKODA Kamiq and have owned a Superb and an Octavia previously. I occasionally use OBD eleven to check on things in my Kamiq

My Kamiq LE is about 12 months old - I know because Skoda just sent an email congratulating me on the first 12 months but they have not been worth celebrating! The LE stands for lemon!
Within a month I started having issues with the ACC locking up. Returned to service and they reset the error...

I’m not a fan of 1L 3cylinder engines, but luckily this car is also available with 1.6TDI
