2011 Amarok Injector Pump Noise

Hi all, just picked up a 2011 trend line manual with 225km on it from the auctions. All is pretty reasonable, but it has a hell of a noise coming from the injector pump at idle, but goes away with revs. Any thoughts? Am going to do the new belt, WP etc ASAP for peace on mind, any suggestions brand ...

I’m just buying my first vw - a 2.0 Tdi mk5 golf. Hoping to squeeze a bit more power out of it eventually (maybe remap, turbo, injectors etc.) but in the meantime just keep it mechanically a1....
