Aus spec Golf 8 GTI missing IQ.Light?

I've recently purchased a Golf mk8 GTI and was disappointed to find that it's missing the IQ.Light feature that Euro and US specs seem to have. It has auto high-beam but not the Matrix LED Headlights.

I own a Tiguan tsi 125 2010 and recently installed HID lights. The lights were working fine for a day until last night when the passenger light went out. I first thought it was a blub and swapped it with a spare which didn't work. Then tired changing the ballast over however...
