New Golf purchase recently but not new to VW. Currently own a 7P 4XMOTION Touareg and absolutely love it. Have recently bought a project car (the Golf) and I’m in the middle of rebuilding the entire engine as it has the typical cracked piston and flogged timing chain issues....

10 mins ago I was driving on my way home and I heard a rattle sound from behind the firewall (from the engine bay) and a plume of unburnt fuel spewed from my Golf's exhaust.
