Basic intake mod

Something that has always annoyed me on the Arteon is how only one intake inlet is open (AU driver side), while the other side is blocked.

When I had the R600 installed, I thought it'd be opened up, but apparently not. So, today I made up a couple of fins to hold the plastic/rubber...

intercooler or oil cooler fins access

On the Golf R 7.5, to access the front fins on the intercooler or oil cooler, can the piano-black trims be simply pulled out from the front of the bumper without damage?

Any tips appreciated.
