Hi All
ive got myself some liqui moly engine decarb because i think the intake needs a bit of a cleanup and as a bit of preventative maintenance.
Have any of you done this before and if so where on the intake have you sprayed it into? i want to make sure i dont break anything...

Fuel Additives & Decarb for petrol engines?
I've been using a 90 ml can of VAG Multipurpose Additive for petrol G 001 770 A2 about every 3 months to help clean the injectors and valves. Can't feel any difference but hopefully it's doing some good.
However what about decarbon? Does anyone know if VW recommend the use of a product... -
Decarb intake manifold
Does anyone know what's the best way of using either Liqui-Moly Petrol Engine Intake Decarb or AC Delco combustion cleaner to clean the carbon off?
I am thinking to spray directly via the intake manifold sensor inlet by removing the sensor or thru the pcv valve inlet to the manifold....Last edited by joec; 24-09-2016, 03:17 PM.
