Just received a 2011 V6 Highline sedan and can't for the life of me get the radio stations to tune in, can only faintly hear them when cranked right up loud. Is this common? appears to be an aerial issue...any...

On the cold mornings recently, as I turned on and cranked my diesel Tig, it loudly beeped 2 or three long tones. Not subtle modulated tones. From the instrument cluster I think. The car cranked a little slowly, I'm thinking it maybe a low battery voltage warning, but I could see no lights or messages...
