    I have recently acquired a 2009 Golf 118 TSI, good news is the pistons are ok, bad news is there is a shudder in the car when accelerating, mainly in the lower gears.

    So my R has about 11k on it now and aside from the odd hit through a couple of gears the car is driven very lightly. I have noticed over the last 4k or so that the clutch engagement has risen to the very top of the pedal and the amount of bite is fairly lame.

    My car today developed a problem with the DSG. Normally when it's in 2nd gear in slow traffic the clutch take up from a slow crawl to acceleration is smooth.

    Today the clutch take up from 2nd gear in "D" started getting rough - like there's a violent shudder for 2 seconds....
