Looked at these boards for a long time but never joined, so now I have

The left sliding door does not open or close without force. The electrics have failed, the cables are intact (although they maybe stretched due to manual operation), the middle height adjustment maybe an issue (because of cable replacement), the fuses are intact and the door switch contacts are clean....

Has anyone fitted side steps/running boards to a 2017 Tiguan? If so, I would appreciate any information as to where they can be purchased? The only ones I can find are on ebay from overseas sellers and it does not appear VW have them as an accessory at this stage. Any hints or suggestions would be...
