I recently purchased a Golf TDI ('06, BKD) with an EGR delete and a (poorly) attempted effort to remove the EGR cooler. Yesterday I noticed the car was whistling on acceleration and deceleration - I checked out the EGR system and low and behold there is no blanking plate at the back...

Hello,
Cleaning out the garage and came across this EGR blanking adapter and pipe block off parts.
The adapter is a solid bit of aluminium. Never installed.

Hi, I did a search on EGR blanking but couldn't find anything...Has anybody blanked the EGR on a T5 2L diesel?
Any information would be much appreciated.Thanks.
