What's the blank rectanular-ish blank in the panel into which the shifter fits? It's just below the 4 (blank rectangles) on the dash. I'm hoping to put a socket into it but it seems different to remove compared to the rectangular ones.

Hi. I have a 2013 Amarok. Lately I have used 1 litre of coolant in 3000 kms over a month, and as I cant see any visible leaks, I suspect leaky EGR cooler. I want to blank it off and remap the ECU. I live near Mackay and am looking for recommendations of a VW mechanic near there or Brisbane. Cheers.
