Hi...would Enkei RPF1's 18 x 9 + 35 fit safely under a Mk7 GTI PP with standard suspension?

Thinking of moving to 18's for a better ride and less pothole paranoia.

2012 Caddy in Camp to join BiTDI And Mk7 Golf, interested in lowering options for Caddy and best off-set for 18s and 19s.

Anyone have chains for the standard MK7 GTI? If so what did you get?

The manual does say the 18s shouldn't be fitted with chains though...
