Anyone have ideas on the cam belt replacement intervals on these cars.
Found a maintenance manual for the Octy III which states 210,000km but for dusty countries (ie Australia) 120,000. but on contacting the dealership they say 105,000 and not cheap.
Anyone had theirs done...

Hi hoping someone can confirm my research please. I'm looking at new tyres for my 08 Beach. I've found a guy with steel wheels and tyres from an Amarok. My plan is to put steel wheels on and get my alloys powder coated. From what I can see the following offsets apply:

Aftermarket Oil Cooler
Has anyone fitted an oil cooler to their Mk7? I was contemplating whether there would be a benefit to bringing the oil temp down given Australia (particularly Qld where I am) is a lot hotter than Europe and my oil temp for normal driving sits around 100 and if I do a track day gets up to 118, 120...
