I've driven a number of Mustangs, a Chev Camaro and any number of Jeeps, various Chryslers and Dodges of varying vintages (not recent models). As I said in my earlier posts...the Yanks just don't get it.......no handling, no brakes, no finesse......more cubic inches to make up for the deficiencies elsewhere.
That they still don't get it is illustrated by the Viper.

I too love classic americans, camaros stangs and stingrays, plus a few other more odd balls the 68 dodge dart etc, but for the most part, especially in standard form, these cars are terrible. but then again, there are always upgrades you can do.
I only want one cause of the shape and the burblin V8, they're classics, nobody can deny that, the fact that they arn't too good at drving, just means you got to put a few extra hours into em!

Fair comment and it illustrates that we are all different with different likes and dislikes....nobody is right or wrong, we just have different tastes. Personally I like old pommie cars even though many may not have been terribly good cars they just appeal to me.
I still miss my 1970 Mini Cooper S......when minis were really minis!

Come on 4 Ltr V6 All-wheel drive no doubt with plenty of power, 20 in rims, etc. If they offered it here in Oz their would be plenty of buyers. Think about Holden and Ford owners who would love all wheel drive!!

Looks fine to me, I realy can't see whats wrong with it. The body kit is a bit outlandish but then so are a number of cars. Oh and try to keep things in context here, a 40+ year old car is not sheit, just realy realy old. Few cars except maybe the old mercs and some other european models had any degree of refinement comparable with that of a modern car.
These cars are fun because of their faults and outlandishness, and thats why alot of people drive them today and love them! I'd love a number of those old cars like a 440 charger in black ohhh drooool... or a 1973 XB Falcon GS coupe' hmn...
Every once in a while I have to go back and remind myself why I voted "Hate it" for this: loud, pretentious, overdone, plastic, tasteless piece of tat.
