Spotted a red GTI, this morning, with LED tail lights. They replaced the regular tail light assembly and had a vertical band, about 2 inches wide for brake, tail light and indicator. The inner assembly on the tailgate containing the reverse light and fog light were original. Looked strange, but the assembly seemed to fit well.
Some of the badging seemed strange too, with what looked like a red "i" on the TDI badge, and, on the left hand side, a small silver badge underneath the GTI. Something like the Edition or Pacific badge but I couldn't read it from where I was.
