Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Rns 510.

    Hello. I have the following problem on my unit. I tried to install the 5238 firmware on it but i was stuck at the combinations of buttons. I tried a couple of times, but shortly after i have seen that i don’t get the vw logo on startup, the hdd capacity is not showing, i have no audio, and in the firmare version menu all i see is H04. I opened the unit and the part number was 1T0035680A written on it, but before i tried this firmware install it was 1T0035680L shown on the version info menu. Any solutions will ne much appreciated, thank you very much.
