"97" t4 2.0l aac engine.

Can anyone help me out with any info on the 2.0l petrol engines I have recently brought a 97 t4 with a lot of dodgy work done to it and can't seem to find any info whAt so ever on the 2.0l aac engines I believe the alternator that is fitted is off a Diesel engine and is mounted where the a/c compressor should be ( been removed ) so any pics or info would be much appreciated !!
