On one of my key fobs, the lock/unlock works, key works in the ignition, but I get a warning and the engine shuts down after about 10 sec. I assume the immobiliser has gone out of spec or something. This all happened when I snapped the blade holder on a doorframe and tried replacing the fob with a cheap replacement fob. I ended up using everything from the original fob except the die cast blade holder and no dice. I Can anyone offer any suggestions on what the issue is?
