Ive replaced my headlight bulbs within seconds without removeing the headlight assembly. Obviously highbeam would be hard cause of the battery being in the way id say.

NOTE: Do not touch the glass of the Globe with your fingers this will shorten the life of the Globe.
    Step one:
Remove the plastic covers on the rear of the lights.

    Step Two:
    High Beam
Unplug the single wire connecting the globe.

Press down on the wire clip holding the globe in place.

Philips make a blue vision, dimond vision and a crystal vison which work really well in the polo.
    They are not cheap tho.

To change to a higher watt i think u would need to check things like fuses and gauge of wire to make sure the loom can hadle the extra current draw.
    Hey mate,
just wondering if you had a night shot of the lights?
And how much did you pay?
I am thinking about going for blue visions too.

I'll be sure to give this a shot sometime after mine arrives - hopefully with some help from smaller hands 'cause I won't be disassembling the car

If you have a young child there arms would be very handy lol.
Yeah the head lights out of the car is easy but u do have to remove the front bar to do this which is a little bit of a hassel.

    Indicators:
Twist the plastic paddle Clock wise this will undo the holder then simple pull out.

    Park Lights:
You have to have very small hands to get to them:
The easiest way I have found is to gentle pull on the wires that they connect too.

    This should free the globe.

Place new globe in and do steps in revers order.

    Low Beam:
Twist the plastic holder Anti-clockwise and the 2 metal prongs will dislodge the globe.
