2012 Polo GTI ordered! Cant´t wait!!

As the title says, 2012 Polo GTI (finally) ordered

Been waiting a pretty long time for my dealer to accept the trade-in price I wanted on my Golf.. Well, I didn´t get exactly what I wanted, but close enough + a real good discount on the GTI!

I went for Reflex silver, very happy with it on my Golf, easy to clean and I think it looks good with all the red and black details that the GTI has..

These are the options I went for;

-5 door (wifey wants easy access to rear seat as we´re expecting a baby in the summer)

-Reflex silver metallic / "jacky" red/black GTI interior

-Panoramic sunroof

-Light & view package (rain sensor + +)

-Comfort package (cruise control, rear parking sensors..)

-17¨ Detroit wheels (same as the 18´s on the Golf GTI)

-DAB radio

-RCD 510

-Media in with iPod cable..

-Bi xenon with LED´s

-Alarm

-Rear tinted windows

Think it will look real good with the Detroit´s!! Wonder what 17´s I should put on the winter wheels.. Not a "problem" for most of you

The salesman said that it will probably be delivered to me mid/late sept. this year as a 2012 model and that it´ll be the eight Polo GTI (6R) in Norway!

Again, can´t wait.. Hope you enjoy your cars and are satisfied with it!

It's not lucky... it's the economy in Europe. Crap and getting crappier.

Trust me, after a 6 month wait and still no car, even though it's in Melbourne, 3 months is lucky, economic situation or not.

How long did it take for the ship to get here? Aus delivery is probably only a few weeks later is you don;t count the time it takes the car to get here.

I had to wait a month and that was almost unbearable

Boat took approx 5 weeks and according to vw, another 3 weeks until I get it after the car arrived last Wednesday. Add 3.5 months after ordering to being built, 3 months turn around in norway kinda just shows where oz is in regards to priorities for orders....

Do we have that much more options than you..? I think the Detroits just came as an option, probably new for the MY2012..

Regarding your theory on fast delivery due to crappy economy, there haven´t been sold that many new cars in Norway since ´86 so it can´t be that bad..?

..think it´s crazy that you have to wait that long for your cars..
