Hi guys
I had my a/c compressor replaced on my 98 Passat the other day (it wasn't working).
The compressor was replaced, but I was told that the fan that cools the compressor isn't working. I took it to K-Mart tyre & service, and they reckon the issue could be modular.
I haven't taken the car back yet (going to take it to Volkspower instead, see what Dean has to say), so at the moment I have a brand-spanking compressor that I couldn't use. Bleh. My question is, is Kmart trying to pull my leg? This car is pretty old, I don't really want to spend another $1500 to have it fixed. :| I am after any kind of suggestion here, thanks!
