When I had my paddle shift steering wheel put onto my Passat, originally I though all systems worked correctly until I went to use the mute button for the sound system which didn't work and then on another day I tried the rear wipers and they also didn't work.

I contacted vw_tech, a member from this forum, and he suggested that it was merely a coding issue so I went back to my VW dealer and they fixed the issue in a few minutes.

A big thank you for your efforts vw_tech. You know what you're doing!
