In need of knowledge with my MK1 Tiguan

I have recently bought my self a 2009 125 TSI Manual Tiguan and just need some help wit a few things as i cant find any information at all.

So I have heard that Tiguan have the same parts as the GTI Mk6, is this only engine parts?
Im looking for side mirrors that are compatible with Tiguan. Which brings me to another question...
Does 2012 Tiguan side mirrors fit onto my 2009 Tiguan.

I generally want to know whats compatible with my Tiguan other than just '09 parts.
