Mk2 Tiguan VCDS Tweaks

Hi guys, I am new to this forum and saw a lot of outstanding information.

I have a Tiguan only with a rear view camera. Could it be possible to code the camera so that it can be activated when i click on the parkpilot button, rather than having to activate it by putting the reverse gear.

I had the same problem but got it working, the app did most of the job so don't undo it.

There was one more setting that required changing:
Control unit A5
Adaptation
Road Sign Detection Fusion Mode
Change to ‘Road Sign Detection’
Reboot the Infotainment unit

And then in the infotainment Vehicle settings, Driver assistance settings there is an option to show in instrument cluster which displays it on the Virtual cockpit, but this setting keeps disabling for me for some reason and I need to re-enable it.

Followed your advice but had to do the changes in control units A5 and 17 below as well. Works properly now and stays on unless I switch it off (don't have to re-enable).

Recommend checking every step below has been done in yours to see if this solve the issue of having to re-enable on start-up.

I tried using the app in obdeleven to activate traffic sign recognition but it doesn't seem to be working on my MY19 wolfsburg. Has anyone else got this working via the app?

If I want to do the long coding method should I undo the app version first? 100 credits to undo something that doesn't work is a bit unfair
