I’ve noticed some squeaking noise possibly coming from suspension as I was getting in and out of my Tiguan Allspace recently and was wondering if anyone had the same issue or had it fixed. The car is 1.5 years old and it’s booked in for an assessment in a month’s time.
I haven’t had a chance to listen for it while I was driving or going over a speed hump but it happens when the car is stationary as I get in or out of the car. It’s similar to the noise you hear from the old mattresses’ springs. Sometimes it’s not there or needs a bit of force/weight to bounce the car up and down to reproduce the noise.
