Tiguan making a weird hissing noise. Is any body else’s doing this.

Hey guys just a quick question. My new wolfie is making like a weird hissing or airy type noise when you accelerate. Is any body else’s making this noise I’ll record it for you. It sounds terrible I think it’s a turbo leak or exhaust leak or vacume Leake.

Does any body know how to down load vids to this so I can post the noises it’s making. Sounds like when it’s raining and water hits the electrical posts. That wet electrical sound lol

Lol nooo it’s not the fart noise lol I’m not some one that knows nothing about cars buddy. I’m a panel beater Of 11 years built plenty of cars and would probably own five houses if I didn’t pour stupid amounts of money into **** boxes like this Wolfsburg Tiguan any ways reason why I put it out there was to see if any body else had an issue same as mine. So grugly buddy old pal. Your far from rite.

Farts are always funny. In any context.
But I’m sorry your exeperience with your new Tig is not great

So the cars In at vw parramatta. They can certainly hear something that’s not rite. They have given us a hire car a Nissan x trail till the car is fixed. How long is it going to take? They don’t know they need authorisation from vw Germany be for they can fix any thing. They also think that being a newer model they are different to the2017 ? So hmmm the wolfie is just sitting at parra till vw Germany can instruct vw parra with what to do. The sound it’s making is more of a buzzing noise when u accelerate. For sure someone had had this issue be for lol

I had a buzzing in the engine bay when accelerating. They added some clips to the fuel line to fix.

So vw parramatta had the Tig for a week. They agreed that there was a noise. They stripped the turbo. Nothing apparently. But than they told me it was a rubber grommet on the gear box. So I investigated and had a look under the dash to find what a ugly mess. Can any body with a vw wolf check under the driver dash and see if it looks like this. I don’t think it’s meant to look like that it honestly looks like they have hacked and cut away the sound deadening but I won’t complain till I’m sure. Thanks guys. .

Here's a shot of mine (MY18 162TSI Highline). It looks like it is perforated for installation of a clutch pedal on a manual gearbox.
It looks like they have ripped it off and tossed it away.
